Share a verse or make a snapshot
1 min readUpdated Oct 21, 2026
You can share a verse as text in one tap, or make a snapshot, an image of the verse you can style first.
Share as text
- In The Bible, find the verse.
- Tap Share verse on the right.
- Pick an app in your phone's share sheet.
The message has the verse, its reference, and the translation. On a computer or a browser with no share sheet, the verse is copied to your clipboard instead. No message appears, so paste it where you want it.
Make a snapshot
- Tap the crown above the verse.
- Tap Snapshot Verse. The verse flashes and your share sheet opens with the image.
- To style it, close the share sheet, tap the ... button, and tap Customize.
- Pick a Background, a Text color, and a Font.
- Tap Share verse to send the new image.
If your browser cannot share images, the snapshot downloads as a picture file instead.
